A Little About Me:

I was one of the early litters here at Ragtime.  My father is Stradivari, the founding male.  I quickly stole the hearts of my mom & dad.

Sonata started as a breeder female here with us.  During her first litter, she developed an infection and we almost lost our dear girl twice.  Thanks to the wonderful devotion of our vet we have her today - and she has even come back to the point of attaining her Grand Championship this past October 2002!!!  Sonata will be permenant pet in our home.  We are very proud to have 3 wonderful sons from her only litter, all of which are in breeding homes. 

We are extremely proud of Sonata's son - Ragtime Cats Our Man Cody - who just earned the title as the Best RagaMuffin Cat in the country - ACFA - 2002-2003!!!   Cody then went on to AGAIN earn this title in ACFA 2003-2004!!  He is also the first RagaMuffin to attain the title "Legacy of Achievement" - which required 3 top wins, in 3 different seasons of showing.  Quite a feat for a breed who has only been championship for THREE years.........so I was not only the first - but did it in the minimum time possible.

Very sadly, in 2003, our dear Sonata became ill, and despite all efforts, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  She will forever be in our hearts here - as we will never forget her.  She is a dear legacy who has left permanent paw prints upon our heart.  She was our dearest baby girl, with a spirit that is rare.  She deeply touched the hearts of everyone in our vets office, who all still remember our girl today.  

We cherish her baby boys, who are her legacy.  She will forever live on through them.  Cody & Elby Jr. carry her spirit here at Ragtime, and she is now a grandma, as Baby Cody is finally here.  Sonata's gentle, loving spirit passes on through her generations. 

Rest in peace our dear one - we will never forget you.
